Initial Situation, Goals & Challenges

OLIMP was already actively operating on Amazon as a vendor when the company came to Omnifox as a new client. To achieve the set margin targets, product sales had to be increased quickly and sustainably. However, in the fiercely competitive sports nutrition market, the company faced a number of challenges on Amazon.

The core problem was the low visibility of the products. The products barely appeared in organic search results for the most important keywords. Since the product listings were rarely clicked and visited due to poor rankings, the products were consequently rarely purchased.

Additionally, OLIMP had not yet run any Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising for its fitness products and therefore generated no traffic through ads.

Consequently, all product listings were first completely revised. Titles, product descriptions, and bullet points were optimized for the most important and profitable keywords.

Attractive and optimized product listings are also the most important prerequisite for well-functioning PPC campaigns. Only when product pages are optimized for customer search intent – i.e., relevant keywords – will ads be clicked and products ultimately purchased. A high Click-Through-Rate (CTR) or good Conversion Rates (CR) signal to the Amazon algorithm that the offer is relevant and interesting to searchers. This has a positive impact on both campaign performance and placement in search result pages, as Amazon PPC and organic performance influence each other.
